Gauhati Univerity invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into First Semester Class of Five Year Integrated M.Com Course for the session 2016-2017. The Gauhati University which is located in Jalukbari, Guwahati, is the first, oldest and renowned University in the entire North East India. It was established in 1948. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating university.
The prospectus along with the application form can be obtained from the University Publication Branch/Department Commerce 16th May 2016 on payment of Rs 400/- (including entrance test fee of Rs. 150/-) in the University Cash Counter or through an SBI Bank Draft in favour of Registrar, Gauhati University payable at SBI, G.U Branch.
A student shall have the discretion to opt out of the course after successfully completing B.Com (Hons) degree at the end of sixth semester.

Eligibility:
Higher Secondary (10+2) with a minimum 55% of marks in aggregate in Arts/Science/Commerce in the year 2015/2016. Those who have appeared in the Higher Secondary (10+2) final examination are also eligible to apply. Details are available in the prospectus.
