Gauhati University has released an official notification for admission to the two-year M.Ed course for the academic session 2020-21. Gauhati University M.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2020
The eligibility criteria for M.Ed course offered by Gauhati University can be checked below -
- As per NCTE norms, M.Ed applicants belonging to General category must have B.Ed/ B.T degree with 55% of marks in aggregate.
- For reserved category candidates, the minimum qualifying mark in B.Ed/ B.T degree should be 50%.
- Students who have completed B.Ed/ B.T from Gauhati University are exempted from the entrance test.
- However, students who completed the B.Ed/ B/.T course from another university will have to sit for an entrance exam.
- Gauhati University reserves 10% of seats in the M.Ed course for teachers deputed by the Government of Assam.
- Serving teachers or candidates must note that they must submit a No Objection Certificate or Study Leave Certificate from their concerned employees along with the application form.
