GGSIPU CET for MD/MS (Ayurveda) 2016 on November 27

New Delhi-based Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), announced admissions to its Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Ayurveda for the session 2016. The course is of three years duration. The admission to the MD/MS is done through common entrance conducted by the University.

Educational Qualification Required:

• Candidates applying for the course must have cleared BAMS from a recognised university or through Central Council of Indian Medicine.
• Candidate must have completed rotatory/ compulsory internship by 31st October 2016.
• Only Indian citizens are eligible for the programme.

How to Apply for the Courses:

All the candidates have to submit their application form only through the online mode for the common entrance examination. The application form is available on the website of the University. Candidates have to deposit application fee of INR 1000 while submitting the application.

Mode of Entrance Examination:

The common entrance test for MD/MS shall consist of one paper of 100 multiple questions. The examination will of three-hour duration and all the questions will be objective type. For the wrong answer, 0.25 will be deducted. Zero marks shall be given for no response and if more than one choice is indicated, it will be considered wrong and negative marks of 0.25 will be awarded.

Selection Procedure at GGSIPU:

Aspiring candidates have to appear in the entrance test. They will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU-CET).
