GITAM University has signed a MoU with CISI to offer a certification in Investment and Wealth Management and Investment Operations (IOC). CISI will also provide assistance and training to GITAM teachers in the respective field.
GITAM University has signed a pact with CISI to provide assistance and training to GITAM students in the field of Investment and Wealth Management. As a part of the MoU, it will provide professional qualifications in Investment and Wealth Management and Investment Operations Certificate (IOC). CISI has also authorised the varsity as the official exam centre for all its international examinations.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Prof K Sivarama Krishna, GITAM Pro Vice-Chancellor, Leben Johnson, GITAM Fintech Academy Coordinator and CISI officials.

As a part of the MoU, both the institutions will organise joint seminar programmes, panel discussions, research projects, conferences and many other activities. CISI will also provide members to train the GITAM teachers free of cost. It will also assist in placement and recruitment for IOC certified students and help them find relevant internships.
