GNLU Collaborates with IFSC to Offer New Financial Services Law Course

The International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) has signed a MoU with the Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) to facilitate skill development in related fields. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the GIFT City in Gandhinagar.

Through this MoU, GNLU and IFSC will collaborate to offer skill development programmes in the domain of international financial services and Regulations. This will help the students get a varied set of education that enhances the employability chances.

GNLU will soon launch a new programme on international financial services law under the MoU. This programme will be starting from June 2017. The university will also offer programmes for lawyers that will provide education regarding IFCS, international arbitration and other related fields.

The aim of the MoU is to propagate an advanced law curriculum that focuses on training the students on the lines of the industry requirement. Another purpose of these courses is to provide better exposure to aspirants in terms of various fields of law education.

GNLU will also motivate its students enrolled in masters programme as well as degree programmes to undertake certificate courses in international financial services and international law.

The university aims to introduce a progressive curriculum that enables students to excel in various fields alongside law education. With this motive, GNLU plans to collaborate with GIFT and various other reputed institutes to improve and conduct programmes related to the financial market.
