Goa Institute of Management is set to offer a PG certificate course in collaboration with SkillSir for working professionals in Data Sciences, Machine Learning, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data.
The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has designed Post-Graduate certificate courses for the working professionals in Data Sciences, Machine Learning, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data. This course will be in collaboration with SkillSir, a SkillTech platform.
This PG certificate programme is specially designed to bridge the gap between future needs and current industry needs. The programme will focus on imparting knowledge and skills to the professionals in the Healthcare and Data Sciences domain.

The course on “Healthcare Management” will be for a duration of 12 months. Meanwhile the other courses “Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data” and “Data Science and Business Analytics” will be for 6 months each. The curriculum of the programmes is designed by the best faculty of the institute based on their expertise.
On the occasion, the Director of Goa Institute of Management (GIM), Dr Ajit Parulekar spoke about the collaboration with SkillSir. He said that it was the first collaboration of GIM with any EdTech domain and they are looking forward to the new venture to provide online executive education in the Healthcare and Artificial Intelligence Sector. Further, he also states that this collaboration with SkillSir will help the participants to upskill themselves and prepare themselves to be ready for the industry with the required skillset.

The Chairperson of Management Development Programmes at the Goa Institute of Management (GIM), Dr Rohit Mutkekar adds that this online executive education mode will contribute to the development of the participants with career growth. Participants will be able to work from their respective locations and still access the tools to improve their skills. He assures that, with the highly skilled and accomplished faculties at GIM and the technological assistance from SkillSir, the programme will run smoothly by providing engaging content to the participants.
