Google India has opened the registration window for Girl Hackathon 2022 for women coders. The event is scheduled to take place from March 19, 2022, to April 30, 2022. What is Google India Girl Hackathon 2022?
It is an India-wide initiative for female students studying computer science and related fields to provide women stage to display their coding abilities and encourage innovative solutions to real-world technological difficulties. The program will continue for 6 weeks and have 3 rounds.
- Round 1- All competitors must complete the Google Online Task, which is a coding challenge that will examine players online in the areas of coding/puzzles. The Google Online Task will be held on March 19, 2022, and the result will be displayed on March 24, 2022.
- Round 2- It is the design document round, which comprises a tech subject/challenge (this year's theme is "Future of Learning") that demands inventive solutions. On March 24, 2022, the document will be made public. The deadline for design document submissions is April 7, 2022, and the results will be disclosed on April 13, 2022.
- Round 3- It will consist of a virtual hackathon in which teams will submit their final solutions to a panel of judges. On April 22, teams must provide a functioning demo/prototype and code repository. And the final round will take hold on April 27, 2022, and the result will be announced on the same day.

Eligibility Criteria for Google India Girl Hackathon 2022
The detailed eligibility criteria for Google India Girl Hackathon is as follows -
- Female students pursuing bachelor's or master's from computer science or related fields can participate.
- This is a team event with a maximum of three people per team. Participants will be able to form teams based on the group allocations listed on the registration page.
- The 'Team Leader' must register on behalf of the whole team, and all other members must disclose their email addresses (primary as well as secondary).
