The software engineering sector has changed rapidly in the last 5 years with the focus on Artificial Intelligence, robotics, blockchains, and machine learning. This changing scenario came as a big challenge for those who have graduated with a bachelors degree in Software Engineering 3 years back. The software engineering graduates had to start their learning process from scratch to understand the new technologies that are being predicted as the future.
Also, professors of this sector had to cope with the technology very fast that have influenced their prospect of teaching. Tech giants such as Intel and Google have come up with a solution and have decided to help by setting up online learning labs in collaboration with the government and academia. The online course in understanding these machine properties will not only help the professionals and professors but it will also provide training to the fresh graduates and will work to upgrade their skills in these sectors.
From 2017, MOOCs or Massive Open Online Courses are receiving tie-up proposals from companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Intel. With the help of these companies, the MOOCs are setting up labs to conduct courses on these new age technologies.
