As the state of Haryana will be moving towards elections in October, before that, the last session of the assembly will be commenced from 2nd August 2019. For legislative works and additional demands linked to the budget during the session, the Agriculture Minister of the state, O P Dhankar said the Cabinet authorised the Haryana CM Mr Manohar Lal Khattar and the finance minister Capt. Abhimanyu for approval granting. The proposed reformations in the Haryana state are as follows,
Approval of Haryana Sports University Bill
For the establishment of a Sports University in the State, the assembly has passed a bill which was presented previously. The Sports University will be set up in Rai at Sonipat as informed by a government official. The university is expected to meet the international standard in the first-of-its-kind full-time university in the state. The ministers expressed that there has been a void in the sector of sports studies , sport science, technologies and high-performance sport studies. The university is likely to address the crisis and produce international level sportsperson from the university. The university will also focus on researches in the sectors of sports sciences, technology and medicine.
Nod to bring Amendment in the Haryana Civil Service (HCS) Examination Rules
To bring more similarity and uniformity in the Haryana Civil Service (HCS) Examinations in the same line of the UPSC Civil Services examination , the cabinet has given nod to receive reformative suggestions. The most important nod the state government gave is to bring reforms by amending the HCS (Executive Branch) Rules, 2008 and rename it to Haryana Civil Service (Executive Branch) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2019. The main written examination of HCS (Executive Branch) and other allied services will now have 4 written papers among which three is compulsory. However, the syllabus for 23 optional subjects, compulsory and optional papers previously published by the Haryana state government will prevail.

However, there are more reforms suggested in various sectors such as municipal act, legislative rules, ESI’s Ward recruitment rules and more.
