Reputed Software Company HCL technologies conducted placement drive at Guntur Engineering College on 10-April-2016. The placement drive was supervised by placement officer, T.Chakradhar . The company officials were welcomed in a grand manner. Placement officer delivered the welcome address. He explained the process of the interview and company officials explained about their company and nature of work to the students.
The interviews were conducted for the final year CSE and IT students. A total number of 30 students took part in placement drive. Written test, technical round, group discussion, and face to face interview were conducted for the students. Out of 30 students, 6 students got placed. The students were selected at an annual package of Rs.2, 00,000. The selected students will be working in Delhi.

- Chandan Kumar and
- Shahjahan
The students were congratulated by the placement officer and college director, Mr.Raghu. The college has a good placement percentage. Students said that “The placement cell has conducted special soft skills training program for a period of 30 days. This training program has improved the skills”. They felt that they are delighted to be a part of HCL technologies. The thanked the college management and placement cell for assuring guarantee placements at the college level.
