Heritage Foods, a reputed Dairy products company conducted placement drive at Narasaraopet Engineering College on 19-April-2016. The placement drive was conducted for the position of Sales officer. Final year MBA students of the college attended the drive. The placement drive was inaugurated by the college principal, Dr.BV Rama Mohan Rao.
Three rounds of interview were conducted which includes personality contest, group discussion, and face to face interview. The placement drive evoked a good response as a total number of 50 students attended the interview. Personality contest tested the attitude of students. Students showcased managerial skills in the personality contest. A total number of 20 students selected in the final round of interview. The company HR officials gave offer letters to the students. Students are selected for an initial package of Rs.1,00,000/annum. The company officials congratulated the students.
College principal, BV Rama Mohan Rao said, “The MBA department of the college has recorded a placement percentage of 70. A total number of 120 students got placed in the campus placements conducted in the academic year 2015-2016”. Students thanked the college management for being supportive and cooperative.
The college is planning to organize a mega job fair next month for B.Tech, MCA and MBA final year students pass outs of academic years 2013-2016.
