HP School Lecturer Direct Recruitment 2023 : As per the meeting held on April 14, 2023 , at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh Cabinet decided to conduct a recruitment drive to hire 530 candidates for the Lecturer (School New) position for different subjects. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The candidates will be chosen through direct recruitment on fixed emoluments. The candidates will be recruited on a contractual basis, the term for which will be announced by the Government.

The Cabinet also revised the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules, 2014. Furthermore, the Cabinet agreed to fill two vacancies of deputy superintendents of police (DSPs) through direct recruitment. The vacancies will be filled based on the candidate's performance in the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HPAS) combined competitive examination.

During the meeting, the Cabinet also agreed to amend the Himachal Pradesh Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1989 (Rule 50). According to this rule, the annual license fee will be Rs.1,50,000 to increase the revenue.

The Cabinet had put up a presentation earlier at the meeting regarding the Covid-19 situation and the measures that are being taken to reduce the spread. The State Government has taken many measures to implement Covid-appropriate behavior for people’s safety.

For the Old Pension Scheme, the Cabinet agreed on a standard operating procedure for state government employees. Hence, the deduction will stop for the New Pension Scheme.
