Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is all set to play the role of 'Super 30' founder Anand Kumar, a renowned Mathematician who has been playing a significant role in training underprivileged students for the IIT entrance examination .
According to sources, Vikas Bahl will helm the biopic and the shooting of this film is expected to begin by the end of the year.
Hrithik Roshan is said to be highly impressed with the story line, which is based on the inspiring life journey of Anand Kumar.
For the uninitiated, Anand Kumar is popular for his educational program 'Super 30', which he started in the year 2002 in Patna, Bihar, India under the banner of 'Ramanujan School of Mathematics'. Ever year, the program selects 30 meritorious and talented engineering aspirants from economically backward sections of society and prepares them for the IIT-JEE.
The life story of Anand Kumar is also available in books in English, Hindi and other languages.

The filmmakers have not yet confirmed the female lead opposite Hrithik Roshan.
The script work of the film has been completed, and Sanjeev Duta has penned the script after thorough research. He also worked for films like Burfi, Heeropanthi, Gangster, Life in Metro and Page 3. He also visited Patna and interacted with the family members of Anand Kumar as well as his Super 30 students.

The makers do not yet confirm the name of the film, and Super 30 is the working title. Earlier, there were speculations that either Ajay Devgan or Shahid Kapoor might play the lead role.
