Hyderabad Business School (HBS) MBA 2019-21 Admissions Open

Hyderabad Business School (HBS), a constituent of GITAM (Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management) University has issued an official notification for the admission to MBA course for the academic session 2019-21. HBS offers a varied range of business programmes apart from its flagship programme and plays a vital role in providing quality business education. HBS also gives scope for research and offers executive training opportunities to students. Details pertaining to Eligibility Norms, Selection Process and Important Dates for the admission to MBA course are elaborated below.

HBS Eligibility Criteria for MBA Course: -

• Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks is mandatory for securing admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at HBS.
• The applicants must have a valid ATMA / NMAT / XAT / GMAT / MAT / CAT / CMAT / GMAT
• scores to be eligible for admission. Candidates who do not have a valid score in the above-mentioned exams must appear for HBSAT, an entrance exam conducted by HBS for the admission to MBA course.
• Final year UG students can also apply once the institute has released the admission notification for MBA course.

HBS MBA Application Process: -

• An official website of Hyderabad Business School is the only gateway for completing the online application process.
• The link for MBA Admissions 2019-21 is activated on the official website now.
• On the home page, the applicants can find a link indicating ‘Apply Online’.
• The candidates will have to click on the link and select the course, i.e., MBA.
• Candidates will have to specify the Name of the Entrance Test (that are mentioned above), Registration Number and Score/ Percentile in the online application form.
• Candidates who do not have a valid score of above-mentioned exams can leave the column blank.
• The candidates will have to pay the application fee after filling the online application form.
• The application fee will be around Rs. 700.
• If the candidates are willing to register for HBSAT, they will have to mention the same on the application form.
• These candidates will also have to choose the test centres.

HBS MBA Selection Process: -

• The selection of the candidates for MBA course will be based on their performance in Entrance Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• Initially, the applicants will be shortlisted as per their performance in the entrance exams mentioned above.
• Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview.
• Performance in all the above-mentioned stages will be the final criterion for the admission.
