The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct the IBPS SO Mains Exam 2021-22 in its usual two shifts. Shift 1 is for the posts of Law Officers, IT Officers, Marketing Officers, Agriculture Field Officers, and HR Personnel Officers; while Shift 2 is taken only for the post of Rajbhasha Adhikari. The IBPS SO Mains Examination has only a section of Professional Knowledge which is solely objective in Shift 1 (60 questions for 60 marks) but is subdivided into objective and descriptive parts for the Shift 2 Exam (45 objective questions and 2 descriptive questions for 60 marks). Both shifts are conducted in English as well as Hindi language.
