ICAI Announces Important Dates for CA CPT 2016

The dates for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) has been announced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The exam will be conducted on the 18th of December.

The exam has been divided into two different sessions- morning and evening.

The exam will be conducted across the country in about 171 cities in India and 5 other cities overseas.

Aspirant now need to register themselves for the exam. The application will start from October 6. Last date to apply for the same is October 27, 2016.

Note: Online registration for the application forms has already started.

Duration of the exam: Two hours

Timings for the exam:

1st session: 10:30 am- 12:30 pm

2nd session: 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Application Procedure:

To obtain the application form for the CA CPT 2016, one will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1500 including Rs. 500 against the examination fee.

Once you have obtained the application form, fill in the required details and submit the same to the below mentioned address:

Note – Remember the last day to submit the application forms is October 27 and they will not be accepted in case they are submitted after that.

About CA CPT 2016 December exam:

• Mode of conduct: Paper-pencil
• Type of questions to be asked in the exam: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
