The ICAI (Institute of Charted Accountants of India) has issued the admit cards of CA CPT (Common Proficiency Test). CA CPT December 2017 exam is scheduled to take place on December 17, 2017, across 191 centres in India and 5 centres abroad. Earlier, ICAI used to send the admit cards via post. However, ICAI stopped the practice of sending the admit cards by post in May 2017. An official notification was also published by ICAI regarding the same.
How to Download Admit Card for CPT December 2017 Exam?
- Log on to ICAI Exams official portal to download the admit card
- After opening the official website, look at the left-hand side of the page.
- You can find the link to download the admit card over there.
- Click on the link.
- Enter the ‘Registration Number’ to download the CPT December 2017 Exam admit card.
- Submit the details, and the admit card will be flashed on a new page.
- Download and take the printout of the same.
- If there are any corrections or discrepancies in the admit card, the candidates can apply by November 28, 2017, to December 7, 2017, through the official website.

On December 17, 2017, CA CPT Exam will take place in two sessions. In the first session (morning), the candidates need to appear for Fundamentals of Accounting and Mercantile Law paper. In the second session (afternoon), General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude paper will be conducted. The timings of the two sessions are as follows: -
- Morning Session – 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Afternoon Session – 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Candidates must attempt 170 questions to clear the exam, and graduate to the next level.
