ICAI CA Final exams 2022 are knocking at the door and the authorities have released instructions to be followed during the exam day. The exam will start on 14th May and end on 29th May 2022. The admit card for the exam has been released and candidates can download it from the official website- www.icai.org. The candidates who qualify in the final exam will become certified Chartered Accountants.
The CA final exam is divided into two groups and candidates can choose to apply for one group at a time. Group I exam is from 14th to 21st May and the Group II exam is from 23rd to 29th May. Both the groups together consists of 8 paper.
ICAI CA Final Exam 2022: Exam Day Instructions
The exam day instructions issued by the ICAI are as follows-
- The exam will start at 2:00 PM so candidates must ensure to report not before 1:00 PM at the examination centre.
- They must carry their admit card along with identity proof with themselves.
- Candidates must carry a transparent water bottle and a 50/ 100 ML of hand sanitiser.
- No electronic gadgets such as mobile phones and smartwatches are allowed in the examination hall.
- Any sort of book, written material, or bag is not allowed inside of the hall.
- Lastly, candidates must follow the COVID protocols.
ICAI CA Final Exam 2022: Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
Before appearing for the exam, here's a quick overview of the exam pattern and marking scheme for CA finals.
- The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English and in offline mode.
- The question paper will consist of both objective and descriptive type questions.
- 30% of the questions will be objective type whereas 70% of them will be descriptive type.
- There are 8 papers in total and each paper carries 100 marks.
- There's no negative marking for any wrong answer.
- The duration of the exam is 180 minutes or 3 hours.
