ICAI CA registration dates have been extended for candidates in Jammu and Kashmir. The last date for Jammu and Kashmir candidates to register for Chartered Accountants (CA) exam is September 15. The exam are conducted to make a career as a C.A.
After scrapping Article 370 the internet facility has been disrupted in Jammu and Kashmir and due to the same aspirants have been facing consequent hardships in filing the application form. Therefore, the registration dates for the CA exam to be conducted in the month of November 2019 for aspirants residing in Jammu and Kashmir has been extended to 15th September 2019. The notification regarding the extended deadline for J&K Students has been issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is a statutory body which is responsible for the profession of Chartered Accountancy in India.
As of now, the registration process is for the Chartered Accountant (CA) exam to be conducted in November for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses. The exams will take place in the month of November along with various post qualification course exams such as International Trade Laws and World Trade Organisation Part 1 exam, Risk Management Technical exam and others.

The CA exam will be conducted at 209 centers across the country and will also be held at five centers abroad which include Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Kathmandu, Doha, and Dubai.
For aspirants belonging to other parts of the country, the last date to submit the application is September 7th. For the CA exam, candidates can choose to answer questions either in English or Hindu. However, for post-qualification courses, the medium of examination is English only.

This is a thoughtful move of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to consider extending the application deadline for candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir. Before this many students from J&K were anxious as the deadline was approaching and the internet facility has not been resumed yet. This will provide students with enough time to fill their applications and submit the same.
