ICAI or the Institute of Charted Accountants of India has postponed the CA Final, Intermediate and IPC exams in Karnataka due to upcoming Assembly elections. For this purpose, ICAI has modified the official notification that was issued on February 08, 2018, relating to the schedule of CA exams . The ICAI exams that are scheduled to be conducted on May 11 and May 12, 2018, have been postponed on May 18 and May 19, 2018, respectively. The exams will be conducted in eight centres in Karnataka.

ICAI further confirmed that the exams are postponed only for the Karnataka state, and the exams will be conducted as per schedule released on February 08, 2018, in all other states. The postponed CA exams will be conducted at the same time and test centre as per the schedule.
Here is the list of postponed exams that are scheduled to take place on May 11 and May 12, 2018: -
- Paper – 5, Advanced Accounting exam
- CA Final Exam (Group II) – Information Systems Control and Audit
- Paper – 6 (Elective)
- CA Foundation Exam for Paper – II
- Business Laws & Business Correspondence & Reporting
- PQC – International Taxation – Assessment Test
- International Tex – Practice

ICAI also confirmed that there would be no change in the new schedule of CA Final , Intermediate and IPC exams for the state of Karnataka. Any update pertaining to the schedule of these exams will be uploaded on the official website of ICAI, and the same can be checked on CollegeDekho also.
