- ICAR conducted AIEEA UG 2017 entrance examination for the admission to various Bachelor’s degree courses in Agriculture.
- ICAR also conducted AIEEA PG entrance examination for the admission to Master degree programmes in various agricultural universities.
Indian Council of Agriculture and Research (ICAR) has declared the results of AIEEA or All India Entrance Examination for UG and PG courses as well as AICE JRF SRF 2017 results on July 5, 2017. ICAR was to declare these results on June 30, 2017. However, the declaration of results had been postponed by five days.
ICAR conducted AIEEA UG 2017 entrance examination for the admission to various Bachelor’s degree courses in Agriculture. However, ICAR will fill up only 15% of seats in some of the universities or institutes through this entrance examination. ICAR also conducted AIEEA PG entrance examination for the admission to Master degree programmes in various agricultural universities that come under ICAR-AU system for the academic session 2017-18. However, ICAR will fill up only 25% of seats in some of the agricultural universities or institutes.
According to the official statement released by ICAR, it will fill up 100% seats in UG courses through AIEEA UG 2017 in the following institutes: -
- National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal
- RLB CU, Jhansi
- Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa (Bihar)
ICAR will fill up 100% seats in PG programmes through AIEEA PG 2017 in the following institutes: -
- Indian Agriculture Research Institute
- Indian Veterinary Research Institute
- National Dairy Research Institute
- Central Institute of Fisheries Education
- Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa (Bihar)
ICAR will fill up 25% seats in Ph.D. programme in the field of Agriculture and Allied Sciences in some Agricultural Universities (AUs). However, ICAR will fill up 100% seats in the Ph.D. programme at the following institute: -
- Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa (Bihar)
