ICFAI Business School Admission 2025: Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview

Details on the Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview are provided here for reference of the aspirants to prepare for the process accordingly:

Personal Interview

  • Each candidate will have a five to seven-minute interview as part of the personal interview.
  • In addition to analyzing the candidates' general knowledge, communication abilities, clarity of thinking and expression, and aptitude for a management career.
  • The interview panel will concentrate on evaluating the candidates' attitudes and goals.

Micro-Presentation

The purpose of the Micro-Presentation component is to give a targeted evaluation of a candidate's presentation and communication abilities as well as their capacity for rapid thought and organization. An overview of the Micro-Presentation with the process, key features, and flexibility is provided here:

How will the Micro-Presentation be conducted?
  • Candidates will choose a number from 1 to 100. Every number represents a predetermined subject.
  • The candidate is given the related topic after choosing a number.
  • They will present for three minutes after having a minute to prepare.
What flexibility will be allowed?
  • A candidate can choose a different number between 1 and 100 to request a second topic if they find the previous one challenging.
  • Candidates will not be given more opportunities, but they can select one of the two themes.
  • Following each selection, the topics are chosen at random. A later candidate will be given a different topic even if they select the same number.
Key Features of the Micro-Presentation
  • Unlike a group discussion, the micro-presentation is an individual exercise.
  • There won't be any conversation or contact among participants—just the presenting candidate will speak.
