ICFAI Business School Admission 2025: Candidates looking forward to securing a seat at the ICFAI Business School for MBA/PGDM shall note the modified selection process here. The application process is ongoing and will be available until the 3rd week of December 2024. One application will only be accepted for admission to all 9 campuses. For admissions, IBSAT 2024, CAT, GMAT, NMAT by GMAC, and XAT scores will be accepted. IBSAT 2024 is scheduled to be held on December 28 and 29, 2024. From ICFAI Business School Admission 2025, the Selection Process will consist of two components: Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview , each carrying a weightage of 25 marks. The goal of this new format is to provide a fair and uniform selection process while offering a more efficient assessment of critical abilities. This process is scheduled to take place from February 15 to 24, 2025, at the IBS Hyderabad campus in Hyderabad.

ICFAI Business School Admission 2025: Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview

- Each candidate will have a five to seven-minute interview as part of the personal interview.
- In addition to analyzing the candidates' general knowledge, communication abilities, clarity of thinking and expression, and aptitude for a management career.
- The interview panel will concentrate on evaluating the candidates' attitudes and goals.
Micro-Presentation
The purpose of the Micro-Presentation component is to give a targeted evaluation of a candidate's presentation and communication abilities as well as their capacity for rapid thought and organization. - Candidates will choose a number from 1 to 100. Every number represents a predetermined subject.
- The candidate is given the related topic after choosing a number.
- They will present for three minutes after having a minute to prepare.
- A candidate can choose a different number between 1 and 100 to request a second topic if they find the previous one challenging.
- Candidates will not be given more opportunities, but they can select one of the two themes.
- Following each selection, the topics are chosen at random. A later candidate will be given a different topic even if they select the same number.
- Unlike a group discussion, the micro-presentation is an individual exercise.
- There won't be any conversation or contact among participants—just the presenting candidate will speak.
- Neither during nor after the presentation will candidates be asked any questions.
- Each applicant discusses their issue in front of two-panel members and nine to eleven other contenders.
Assessment Criteria
Candidates will be evaluated by the Selection Panel on their capacity to:- Think fast and efficiently.
- Within the allotted three minutes, provide material understandably and succinctly.
- Exhibit the following attributes: Communication skills, Logical reasoning, Relevance to the topic, Body language, and Confidence.
Additional Guidance for Candidates for Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview
- During the one-minute preparation period, quickly write down an outline or important points to help organize their ideas.
- Concentrate on providing the most important and pertinent facts understandably and concisely.
- To stay inside the allotted three minutes, practice speaking steadily.
- Throughout the presentation, remain confident, and clear, and use appropriate body language.
