ICSI CS Result 2021 Passing Criteria

ICSI CS Result 2021: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will declare the CS results for CS Executive and CS Professional on February 25, 2022, in online mode. CS Foundation 2021 was conducted on January 3 and 4, 2022, whereas the CS Executive and CS Professional exams were held from December 21-30, 2021. Since the results are going to be announced tomorrow, candidates might have queries about the passing criteria for the CS Exam. Here, we have shared with you the qualifying marks i.e. the passing criteria for all CS examinations.

Qualifying Marks or Passing Criteria for ICSI CS 2021

The passing criteria or qualifying marks are the same for all levels and modules of ICSI CS exams. Let us take a look at the CS passing criteria:

1. ICSI CS Foundation Programme Qualifying Marks -

A candidate will pass the ICSI CS Foundation Programme examination if he/she obtains a minimum of forty per cent marks in each subject and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all the subjects put together, in one sitting. Provided that a candidate who has appeared in all the subjects for which he/she was enrolled and has obtained sixty per cent marks or above in any subject, but failed, shall be declared to have passed in the subsequent examination, if he/she obtains a minimum of forty per cent marks in each remaining subject and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of the remaining subjects at one sitting within the next three following examinations.

Passing Criteria for all Programmes of ICSI CS 2021:

2. ICSI CS Executive Programme Qualifying Marks -

(a) For both modules:

A candidate shall be declared passed in both modules if-

  • Taken simultaneously and if he/she secures at one sitting, a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in aggregate of all the papers put together

OR

  • He/she has passed in any one module of Executive Programme examination held under the old syllabus, prior to the introduction of the Executive Programme examination under the current syllabus and secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the remaining papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all such remaining papers of the Executive Programme examination put together.

(b) For one module:

A candidate shall be declared to have passed in one module of the Executive Programme examination if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each paper and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all papers of that module and shall be declared to have completed the Executive Programme examination on passing both the modules.

3. ICSI CS Professional Programme Qualifying Marks -

(a) For All modules:

A candidate shall be declared passed in all modules if-

  • Taken simultaneously and if he/she secures at one sitting, a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all the papers put together

OR

  • If he/she has passed in any one or more module(s) of Professional Programme examination held under the old syllabus prior to the commencement of Professional Programme examination under the new syllabus, and secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the remaining papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all such remaining papers put together.

(b) For one module:

A candidate shall be declared to have passed in a module of Professional Programme examination if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each paper and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all the papers of that module and shall be declared to have completed the Professional Programme examination on passing all the modules.
