IGNOU Announces Admission to Diploma in Event Management Course

School of Continuing Education (SOCE) – Indira Gandhi National Open University is offering admission to Diploma in Event Management (DVEMT) course for the July 2018 session. The online admission process for the DVEMT course is underway and interested students can submit the online application form for the same through the IGNOU official website.

Diploma in Event Management course equips students with necessary skills and knowledge in one of the most rapidly growing and exciting industry. Interested students can register for any one session of admissions, i.e., July 2018 or January 2019. At present, the admissions are open for July 2018 session. Admissions for January 2019 session will begin in September/ October 2018.

The duration of the Diploma in Event Management course is one year. The total course will have 32 credits that will enable a candidate to learn and develop the competencies of a professional event manager.

IGNOU Diploma in Event Management Course Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates who wish to register for Diploma in Event Management course must have passed at least Class 12 from any stream to be eligible for the admission.
• Apart from the basic qualification, the candidates must have the zeal to excel in the field of Event Management.

Eligible and interested students can submit the online application form through the official website of IGNOU on or before August 31, 2018, for the July 2018 session. While applying online, the candidates must upload the Class 12 mark sheet or certificate. The course fee is Rs. 8,000 which must be paid in the online mode.

The candidates will receive an admission letter and IGNOU Identity Card from the nearest Regional/ Study Centre.
