Candidates aspiring to pursue Bachelors of Education course can now apply at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. IGNOU has announced admissions for its B.Ed. a programme that will be commencing from the session 2017. The last date for applying is September 9.
Candidates will have to apply online and fill all the details that are asked in the form. Apart from this, a payment of Rs. 1050 must also be done in order to apply for the course.

Eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in either of the following fields such as science, commerce, social sciences, humanity. The marks secured should not be less than 55% from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Candidates who have successfully completed an NCTE-recognized teacher education program from either the face-to-face mode or served as trainee in elementary education can also apply for the course.

Selection process:
Students will be offered seats based on the score that they secure in the entrance exam conducted by the university.
