The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) - School of Health Sciences has introduced a postgraduate certificate programme in acupuncture for July 2018 academic session.
The PG certificate programme in acupuncture will be offered in offline open and distance learning mode (ODL).
Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU PG Certificate Programme in Acupuncture:
- Medical graduates of allopathy, Ayurveda, naturopathy, unani, homoeopathy, physiotherapy, siddha yoga, dentistry can apply for the programme in accordance with the guidelines of the ministry of health and family welfare.

Fees for IGNOU PG Certificate Programme in Acupuncture:
- The fees for the PG certificate programme in acupuncture is Rs.30,000 and the duration of the programme is one year. The certificate course is a great choice for candidates who wish to enhance their skills in the medical field.
Study Centres for IGNOU PG Certificate Programme in Acupuncture:
- The course will be offered at nine IGNOU study centres across the country and students will have the option to choose only one out of the nine centres. They will have to mention the same in their admission form. They will be allotted the study centre as per their choice.
- The centres where the programme will be offered are Delhi, Nasik, Indore, Kota, Chennai, Rourkela, Ludhiana, Kolkata and Hubli.
