The School of Computer and Information Sciences of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced a new Post Graduate course called Diploma in Computer Applications. The same will reportedly start from January 2020.
This came after comprehending the importance of offering the generation with adequate knowledge on the existing as well as the latest computer software development. The duration of this course goes from 1 year to a maximum duration of 4 years. Candidates would not have to worry about the age limit as there is none and the programme is for both January and July admission cycles.
IGNOU PGDCA Eligibility Criteria
An applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years from a recognised university with mathematics as a subject in either 10+2 or Under Graduation.

IGNOU PGDCA Course Fee
The IGNOU PGDCA course fee for a maths student is Rs 10,800 for each semester. However, a non-maths student will be charged an additional amount of Rs 1,400.
IGNOU PGDCA Course Details
This master's level course in Computer Applications comprises 12 courses, which will earn a student 36 credits. It has been given a semester approach with two semesters every year and two examinations per year, one in June for the month of January to June semester and the other in December for the July to December semester.
