IGNOU Ph.D. Entrance Exam 2021 Admit Card Released: Check Important Instructions for Exam Day

The National Test Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct IGNOU Ph.D. Entrance Exam 2022 tomorrow (February 24, 2022) for the IGNOU admission to various Ph.D courses. Admit cards have been already released and candidates can download their admit cards through the official website ignou.nta.ac.in.

Candidates can download the IGNOU Ph.D. 2021-22 Admit Card using their application number and password or using their application number and date of birth (DoB).

IGNOU PhD Entrance Examination 202122 will be conducted by the NTA (National Test Agency) for admission to various Ph.D. courses in the academic session of 2021-2022 on February 24, 2022. The IGNOU entrance exam for admission into its PhD programmes is conducted every year. The NTA will be conducting the IGNOU PhD entrance exam  in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.

IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam 2021-22: Important Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates are advised to go through the below mentioned instructions carefully.

  • Candidates must carry admit card at the exam centre, along with a valid photo identity proof like a PAN card,Aadhaar card, driving license, or Aadhaar enrollment form, ration card and passport.
  • Candidates should carry one passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form).
  • Aspirants must carry a PwD certificate issued by the Authority, in case they under the PwD category,
  • Candidates must reach at the exam centre two hours before the beginning of the examination.
  • Registration desk will close 90 minutes before the IGNOU PhD entrance exam commences.
  • Aspirants will not be allowed to make an entry in the the exam hall after the registration desk closes.
  • As soon as the IGNOU PhD exam hall opens, canddates must take their respective seats according to the seat allotment mentioned on the admit card.
  • Any candidate found to have not adhering to the seat allotment will not be permitted to sit for the exam, and their candidature will be cancelled without further investigation.
  • Carrying mobile phones, electronic gadgets, bags inside the examination centre are strictly prohibited

In order to keep up to date on the latest exam updates, candidates are advised to regularly check the NTA and IGNOU official websites. If candidates find their admit cards difficult to download or there is an error in the information on the admit cards, they can contact the officials.

  1. Log on to the official website.
  2. Please click the link IGNOU Ph.D. 2021 Admit Card.
  3. Candidates will be redirected to the next page. On which two links will be given:
  • Login through application number and password
  • Login through application number and date of birth
  1. Candidates will enter their application number, password and security pin and then proceed by clicking on the sign in button.
  2. IGNOU Ph.D. Admit card will display on the screen.
  3. Candidates can download it and take print out for future reference.
