The placement process at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) witnessed the participation of top companies. According to official data of IIFT, four students bagged international offers with an annual package of USD 150,000 (Rs. 95 lakh). Apart from that, seven students bagged international offers with an annual salary of USD 80,000.
For the batch of 2016-18, international placements continued to be strong at IIFT. So far, 31 international roles have been offered to the students with outstanding salary packages. Students were offered international job roles in: -

- Thailand
- South America

The average package offered to students stood at Rs. 19.23 lakh per annum. Similarly, the domestic average salary offered was Rs. 18.27 lakh per annum.
The summer placements for the academic year 2017-19 at IIFT also witnessed a satisfactory rise in average stipend offered to students. The average stipend offered to students stood at Rs. 1.37 lakh and there has been 10.48% increase in the average stipend.
In 2016, top companies like Deloitte, Google, City Bank, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Nestle and others dominated the IIFT placements. Over 228 students of 2016-18 batch bagged jobs and 60% of students were offered a six-figure stipend. The average stipend offered was Rs. 1.24 lakh.
