The graduating batch of 2020, in the 2020 placement drive of IIIT Delhi, has recorded the highest package of Rs. 1.45 crore, which was offered to a female computer science engineer from the institute. The average package that has been offered to the students is at Rs. 16.33 lakh p.a.
IIIT Delhi, which is popular for its electronics and computer science discipline, registered an outstanding placement record this year. All the final year students pursuing M.Tech and B.Tech courses in the premier institute secured jobs in reputed companies with attractive salary packages.
This year, a total of 562 offers, to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Among the 526 offers that had been made to the students, 310 offers were for full-time jobs, while 252 offers were meant for internships. Unlike last year, this year the premier institute saw many companies recruiting students for full-time positions, instead of internships. Here are the highlights of the IIIT Delhi Placement Report for 2020 Batch.
This year, the institute witnessed one of the highest packages being offered to one of its students. A female student from the Computer Science Engineering department has bagged an Rs. 1.45 crore package.

Director of IIIT Delhi, Professor Jalote expressed his satisfaction regarding the placement percentage of students. The graduating batch has a lot of scope for excelling in the professional career, he added.
