Indian Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad has launched an advanced certificate programme in blockchain technologies. The demand for professionals in the field is very huge and the course can prove to be extremely beneficial for those who enroll.
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has introduced an Advanced Certificate Programme in Blockchain Technologies in partnership with TalentSprint. The institute decided to launch a new programme as there is a huge demand for Blockchain professionals all over the world.
The new Advanced Certificate Programme will be offered at the IIIT Hyderabad Blockchain Centre of Excellence . PJ Narayanan, IIIT-H, Director informed that the institute was selected to partner with Ripple’s University Blockchain Research Initiative along with Pennsylvania University, MIT and other globally recognised universities.
According to him, the Centre of Excellence will primarily focus on advanced research in the respective field. Also, IIIT-H is using its UBRO grant to expand its centre and will focus on the academic advancement and innovation in the respective field.

He further said that the new programme will offer students an opportunity to gain insights and have a deeper understanding of Blockchain Technologies. This will ultimately help them to find solutions in the supply chain industry, integrated financial systems and other such industries. The duration of the programme is three years and the faculty will be both from blockchain research and practitioners from TalentSprint.

Santanu Paul, MD & CEO of TalentSprint said that this era is of Blockchain and the certificate programme at IIIT-H will make India a major hub of expertise in blockchain technologies and its solutions.
