International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad and CA Technologies have signed an agreement to collaborate for setting up a Co-Innovation Lab on the campus. The engineers of CA Technologies will assist research labs of IIIT Hyderabad for building new technology prototypes. According to the agreement, researchers of IIIT Hyderabad and engineers of CA Technologies will collaborate on applied research projects that include: -
- Machine Learning (ML)
- Artificial Intelligence (AL)
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)

Senior Vice President of CA Technologies, Mr. Surya Panditi revealed that they are happy to be a part of IIIT Hyderabad for developing Co-Innovation Lab. The major aim is to combine the strengths of research with industry knowledge and make significant contributions in the fields of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. CA Technologies will work actively to engage with academia. Its major objective is to remove the barriers to the ideas and outcomes, he added.

The significant collaboration between CA Technologies and IIIT Hyderabad will strengthen the institute’s ‘vision on research for knowledge’. The institute will also work actively to engage with the industry.
Director of IIIT Hyderabad, Mr. J.P. Narayanan hoped that the new initiative would not only benefit research but also industry. The research labs at IIIT Hyderabad will give more emphasis to real world problems, and try to figure out solutions with the help of industry.
Through this collaboration, IIIT Hyderabad will take part in conferences and present its ideas in the fields of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
