IIIT Hyderabad Launches New Course on ‘Foundations for Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning’

International Institute of Information Technology (Hyderabad) is focusing on offering more professional courses to the interested students and technology professionals, and as a preliminary step, the premier IT institute has launched a new course on ‘Foundations of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning’. The formal launching of the course took place on October 24, 2017. It is a new learning opportunity for technology professions to enhance their skills.

Mr. P J Narayanan – Director of IIIT Hyderabad stated that many companies are investing heavily in machine learning and artificial intelligence. These two domains have relevancy in many sectors such as manufacturing and banking. Many companies that come under service sector also invest in these domains. Talent Spirit, a renowned company is an associate partner of the course, he added.

Mr. Santanu Paul – CEO and Co-Founder of Talent Spirit said that both artificial intelligence and machine learning is some way connected with the next industrial revolution. Therefore, the step taken by IIIT Hyderabad to offer a course in these domains will help contemporary technology professionals to face the new era of automation and intelligent systems.

IIIT Hyderabad will conduct two-day classes in a week for four months for senior professionals in the industry with a motive to enhance the efforts in light of the demand. The new course will have hands-on teaching approach that would help technology professionals and engineers to build deep machine learning programme capabilities in their respective companies.

In the recent past, IIT Hyderabad has also launched two new courses, i.e., B.Tech in Engineering Mathematics and B.Tech Minor in Design.
