Students pursuing Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) at the prestigious IIM Bangalore hosted ‘Drishti 2019’. It is a Visionary Leadership Summit and Alumni Reunion, which took place on February 10, 2019, from 9 am-6 pm. Drishti 2019 is organised in association with IIMB’s innovation and entrepreneurship hub NSRCEL.
The industry leaders gave an insight into what the future holds. Apart from the panel discussions and keynote speeches, the event also witnessed workshops on digital marketing as well as a Hackathon night. During the event, the introductory speeches were delivered by the IIM Director, Professor G. Raghuram & Sumit Chauhan, Head-Lifestyle Business at HARMAN International. K.T. Rama Rao, Telangana’s IT Minister addressed the gathering.

Addressing the gathering, IIM Bangalore Director, Professor G. Raghuram revealed details about the new infrastructure that is being built at the IIM Bangalore campus.
Sumit Chauhan, Head-Lifestyle Business at HARMAN International spoke about the association and value of brands in an individual's life. As far as this aspect concerned, social media and influencers are playing a dominant role.
Some of the highlights of the sessions include ‘Organizational Challenges in Digital Transformation’ by Richard de Souza and Mahindra Digital; ‘Leadership Lessons from Battlefield’ by Lieutenant General Satish Dua and a few others.
Four-panel discussions on Digital Transformation, Alternative Finance, Dealing with Technological Disruption & Women Who Took up the Unconventional Path were conducted as a part of the event. All these discussions were moderated by IIMB faculty along with other eminent people.
IIMB is a leading graduate school with 111 full-time faculty members, more than 1200 students across various programmes and roughly 5000 annual executive education participants.
