IIM Ahmedabad has emerged as the top Indian b-school in the field of executive education this year in the Financial Times Executive Education Ranking. IIM Ahmedabad has not only improved its ranking in the Financial Times Rankings for executive programmes but has also emerged as the best institution in India for such courses.
IIM Ahmedabad has surpassed IIM Bangalore and has secured 57 th rank in Financial Times Rankings for executive programmes . IIM Bangalore is the second in list amongst the Indian institutes and has secured 59 th rank this year. However, the institute has performed poorly as compared to the last two years. IIM Ahmedabad has jumped 17 places since 2016 and moved up the ladder at a global scale. IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore are the only two institutes from India that have made it to the top 90 b-schools of Financial Times ranking. Spain’s IESE Business School bagged the first position once again for its executive courses.
Chairperson of Executive Education at IIM Ahmedabad, Professor Arvind Sahay, said that the institute has secured excellent score in different parameters like teaching material and methodology, faculty, milestones achieved, ROI and future use.

Professor Sahay added that the executive programme offered by IIM-A has been designed while keeping the client inputs in mind and deliver education at reasonable fees. He hopes that their hard work will continue to get good scores from global ranking organisations. IIM Ahmedabad will soon launch an extension centre in Dubai , he added.
