Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has bagged additional funds from alumni and well-wishers for the restoration of dorms and classrooms at Heritage Campus. The restoration of iconic Louis Kahn Campus is also one of the major infrastructure initiatives of IIM Ahmedabad. Recently, IIM Ahmedabad also announced funding commitment or support for three dorms and two classrooms. Director of IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. Ashish Nanda expressed his happiness that the alumni have been playing a significant role in the funding the premier institute financially for the restoration of its heritage campus. Earlier, PGP 1982 batch of IIM Ahmedabad also contributed for upgrading a couple of classrooms in heritage campus, he added.

Mr. Ashish Nanda indicated that it has been delightful to see the love, compassion and commitment of alumni towards the premier management institute. The funds will help the institute in expanding the physical infrastructure and deliver the best quality education to students. IIM Ahmedabad will also improve its research output in the field of management, he assured.
Besides PGP 1982 batch, IIM Ahmedabad also received funds from PGP 1981, 1974, 1982, 1992 batches and old students. IIM Ahmedabad will initially establish PP Gupta Auditorium in the new campus.

In the last few years, the contributions made by alumni for improving infrastructure have been exceptional. With an objective to create a better learning environment for students, many more alumni are coming forward to support the institute financially.
