The 1992 batch of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has made a donation of Rs. 2.50 crores.

An unprecedented surprise by the 1992 batch of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has made the Indian Institute of Management’s New Year merry. In their 26th alumni meet at the college, about 130 alumni met and they donated Rs 2.50 crore to their alma mater to build classrooms. This is the largest donation made to the institute so far. The amount was given to Ashish Nanda, the Director and Prof. Rakesh Basant – Dean (alumni).

Before this, IIM-Ahmedabad had received Rs. 1.60 crore and Rs. 1.50 crore by two separate batches.
