The Entrepreneurship Club (Entre) of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad will soon launch a management clinic with a motive to help start-ups and SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprises). The move will enable start-ups and SMEs to sustain their businesses. As a part of management clinic, the students of IIM Ahmedabad will extend advisory services to start-ups and SMEs at a nominal cost of Rs. 3,000. The students of IIM Ahmedabad will be divided into teams who will be further guided by faculty members.

The management clinic is structured to enable IIM Ahmedabad students to engage with specific or selected firms for a period of four weeks wherein, they will, in turn, play a vital role in guiding SMEs and start-ups on solving most complex problems. Not only will the students be able to learn in the process, but the organisations will also be benefitted largely while witnessing a collaborative environment where students will structure the method of sorting out challenges faced by them.

In a recent development, the pilot phase of management clinic concluded following which two different businesses were supported. An online marketing campaign and a soft launch strategy were framed or designed for a local Small and Medium Enterprise that aimed at launching a herbal alternative to tea which was successful.
