IIM Ahmedabad Records 100% PGP Placement in 2025: BCG, Goldman Sachs Among Top Recruiters

IIM Ahmedabad Records 100% PGP Placement in 2025: The Final Placement process for the MBA (Post Graduate Programme in Management- PGP) has been successfully completed by IIM Ahmedabad for the Class of 2025. As reported by the institute, IIM Ahmedabad recorded 100% placement of PGP Class and organisations from various domains or sectors participated in the final placement process. The same took place in a well-structured manner divided into three clusters, with each cluster comprising various industry cohorts. Notably, all students were placed across 30 cohorts. Among investment banks, Goldman Sachs was the biggest recruiter, while Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and others also participated.

Lateral Placements Processes marked the beginning of the placement process, which was conducted from January 6-21, 2025. Find key highlights about IIM-A MBA placements 2025 here:

• Overall, from the consulting sector, companies like Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group, EY Parthenon, Alvarez & Marsal, Kearney, Kepler Cannon, Arthur D. Little, Bain & Company, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, Jasper Colin, and KPMG India, among others.
• With 35 offers, Boston Consulting Group made the highest number of offers, followed by Accenture Strategy with 30 offers. Goldman Sachs emerged as the largest recruiter among Investment Banks, making 9 offers, closely followed by Avendus Capital with 7 offers.
• Other top firms such as Avendus Capital, Moelis, and HSBC participated in the final placements process in the Investment Banking and Markets cohort. In the domain of General Management, Tata Administrative Services made the highest number of offers with 5 offers, followed by GMR Group with 4 offers.
• The Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC) cohort saw participation from companies such as General Atlantic, Everstone, Elevation Capital, and Arga Investment exhibiting increased activity.
• A significant number of offers were made by American Express, with 15 offers in the cards and financial advisory cohort. Additionally, firms like Transformation X (Dubai) and Arthur D Little (Riyadh) rolled out international placement opportunities for the IIM Ahmedabad PGP graduates.

During the Lateral Placements Processes phase, candidates possessing prior work experience were interviewed for recruitment in middle and senior management positions. This phase of the recruitment process witnessed participation from firms from diverse sectors such as technology, banking, finance, consulting, analytics, etc.

In the Final placement process, companies were grouped into cohorts based on their core business and industry profile, and groups of cohorts were invited to the IIM-A campus at different intervals. As stated by IIM Ahmedabad, the PGP graduates had the authority to make “dream” applications to firms of their preference in subsequent clusters, even with an offer in hand, so that they could find a job that closely aligned with their career aspirations.
