IIM Ahmedabad to conduct 57th Convocation today in offline mode

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, will be conducting its 57th annual Convocation today at the Louis Kahn Plaza, IIM Ahmedabad (Old Campus). The management institute decided to hold this event offline owning to a decrease in the Covid-19 cases. The convocation will begin at 7:30 pm in the presence of the founder and CEO of Nykaa, Falguni Nayar, as the chief guest. She is also an alumna of IIM Ahmedabad.

According to the official statement released by IIM Ahmedabad, "This year, our alumna and Founder & CEO of Nykaa, Ms. Falguni Nayar will be gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivering the Convocation Address. She will join Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairperson, Board of Governors, and Professor Errol D’Souza, Director, IIMA on stage.”

The institute will provide certificates and medals to scholars through the chief guest at 8 pm. The chief guest will address the 57th convocation after facilitation. The welcome address of the event will be given by the chairperson of the board of governors at IIMA, Kumar Mangalam Birla. The concluding thoughts of the annual event will be given by Errol D’Souza, director of IIMA. After the event, the national anthem will be played by the management institute. All the important highlights of the 57th Convocation will be displayed by IIM Ahmedabad on the official Youtube channel.
