The Mumbai chapter of the Alumni Association of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMCAA), will be organizing the third edition of Clarion Call, their annual start-up event on April 20s at IIT Mumbai.
At the event, the startups will get an opportunity to get investments from startup investors and mentorship from IIMC alumni and other experts. The number of finalists that will be chosen is 10, there will be 5 each from pre-revenue and post-revenue stages, and they will be selected to present in front of a panel of judges on April 20.

The winners will get cash as well as non-cash prizes. There is also a possibility that winners may get funded and/or incubated for the startups. There will be 40 semi-finalists out of which 10 finalists will be chosen and these 40 start-ups will be invited to be present either in-person or virtually before one of the 4 panels. The event is supported by SINE, IIT Mumbai, and Ikeva. The official organisers of this event are Lead Angels, Mumbai.

Jayant Sengupta, IIMCAA President said their last two editions met with a lot of success so this year, they are planning to move a step ahead. The CEO of Lead Angels, Sushanto Mitra said such events help the start-ups to refine their business models and get adequate support-it depends whether it is monetary or non-monetary. The last date to take part in this event is March 31, 2019.
