Yesterday i.e. 8th September’ 16 Indian Institute of Management Amritsar hosted a conclave on the theme- Contemporary HR: Fostering organisational creativity and innovation. The chief guest of the occasion was the CEO of Datawise, Vinay Kumar and welcome address was given by the professor of IIM Kozhikode, Surya Prakash Patil. The first ever newsletter of Strategy which is a strategy and consulting club of the IIM Amritsar was launched on this occasion.

A lot of successful entrepreneurs participated in the conclave, they majorly discussed the role of human resource management and how it is the core and fuel of innovation and creativity and they also shared their views on the following:
- Latest Industry Trends
- Corporate Work Culture
- HR Management
Two important panel discussions took place at the conclave, the first panel included the following members:

- Vandana Sharma, Chief People Officer, HolidayHQ
- Adil Nargolwal, Senior General Manager of HR, WNS
