Indian Institute of Management (IIM-Bangalore) will be offering an advanced course to family business owners in the campus. Though the institute has been offering management course for family businesses and entrepreneurs since the past 13 years and roughly 400 owners from different sectors have completed the course. Most of them have even asked for an advanced course as the business environment is known for growing in complexity.

IIM B has come up with the Family Business Advanced Management (FAME) course which will train and equip the next generation of Indian family business owners with the necessary knowledge and skills for managing their companies. Professors K. Kumar and Dalhia Mani are the ones who designed the curriculum for this course.
The course will include 21 days of on-campus modules spread over six months and the students who are enrolled in this course have to conceive and implement a business challenge. But the intake for this course is just 25 students.

IIM Bangalore is the third IIM to be set up after IIM Calcutta and Ahmedabad . It has been ranked as India’s best B school as per the NIRF 2019 rankings and QS Rankings. The institute offers post graduate, doctoral and executive training courses. IIM B has also launched a 2-year course in Business Analytics which will commence from 2020. Apart from this, IIMB is also involved in offering consultancy services, conducting academic conferences, seminars, research and publishing journals.
