IIM Bangalore takes a leap towards building a better bond between the institute and the alumni. The IIMB passouts will now be able to join several courses offered by the institute. These courses include Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), Post Graduate Programme in Software Enterprise Management (PGSEM), Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM).
The initiative has been termed ‘Back to School’ policy by the institute. The students who have passed their graduation at least 10 years back are eligible to be a part of this program. Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore is offering this opportunity to its passouts under the Executive Education Programme (EEP) for management professionals. A limited number of seats will be reserved for the alumni which will be offered to the aspirants with 50% waiver on the regular programme pricing. The admission to these will be done under the custody of the Executive Education Office and Alumni Relations Office at IIMB. There is no provision for automatic admission to check the suitability of the candidates applying for the courses. These programmes will be starting from July 2019.
The Director of IIM Bangalore, Prof G. Raghuram said that the institute has been focusing on the continuous learning objectives of working professionals. Joining this course will help the alumni to get acquired with the recent trends in the field of management.
