Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) has announced a significant collaboration with TCS iON, a strategic unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The purpose of this collaboration is to conduct examinations for IIMBx MOOCs (Massive Online Open Courses). Initially, IIM Bangalore will conduct online examinations at TSC iON state-of-art digital zones in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Kolkata. For this purpose, IIM Bangalore planned three examination cycles during a year.
IIM Bangalore and TCS iON also announced the ‘Management Educators Hub’, a unique initiative that will host specialised collaboration communities in the area of management for educators. The hub gives an opportunity to those who have continuous passion towards innovation in learning and teaching. TCS iON Digital Hub will host the ‘Management Educators Hub’. Various professional institutions and publishers offer rich content to those who want to learn and upgrade their skills.

Initially, IIM Bangalore will launch and moderate seven communities on ‘Management Educators Hub’. These seven communities will focus on various key disciplines of management that include Managerial Economics, Human Resources and Marketing.
The ‘Management Educators Hub’ will play a significant role in fostering conversations on innovative teaching methods. The hub will also focus on figuring out solutions to various challenges in the key disciplines of management. It will invite reputed educators from various business schools across the country to become a part of this unique community.

Mr. V. Ramaswamy, Global Head of TCS iON expressed his happiness to collaborate with IIM Bangalore for this unique project. Through this collaboration, IIM Bangalore and TCS iON will play a crucial role in enhancing blended classroom learning and other EduTech trends that include outcome learning and adaptive assessments.
Chairperson of MOOCs, IIM Bangalore, Prof. P.D. Jose revealed that the entire education system is witnessing a radical change, and it is time to adopt new technology and methods.
