India-Japan Study Centre at IIM Bangalore (Indian Institute of Management) has launched its first edition of Executive course in Business and Operations Management . The course is all set to commence on September 24, 2018, at IIM Bangalore campus. The new general management programme will offer executives an opportunity to gain management expertise. The course will also provide a platform to connect with professionals from the Japanese-business ecosystem .
The participants of Business and Operations Management course will have to attend five modules (one week each) spread over a five-month period. The participants will also get a chance to undergo an immersion module in Japan.

During the immersion module in Japan, the participants will visit various agencies and industries in Japan to get a detailed understanding of competitiveness of the Japanese industry. Executive course on Business and Operations Management is intensive and will include a comprehensive project that runs through the duration of the programme.
Initially, the intake of Executive course in Business and Operations Management will be 40. The directors of this new course are: -

- Professor Krishna Sundar – Production and Operations Management Faculty at IIMB

Director of IIM Bangalore, Professor G Raghuram revealed that the Indo-Japanese Centre was set up with an aim to incorporate the best practices of Japan in the field of management. The new Executive course in Business and Operations Management will give a boost to the mission of Indo-Japan Study Centre of IIMB, he highlighted.
