QUEst, a diversity and inclusion interest group of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is organising ‘Write for Diversity’, an online short writing contest. The entries are now open for poems, short stories and reflections on inclusions. QUEst is organising an online writing contest in collaboration with Penbound, a social networking platform for readers and writers, Interweave, an inclusion solutions consulting firm. QUEst is being led by PGP students of IIM Bangalore, Rohit John Philip and Abhishek Ghosh. People who are interested in writing short stories, reflections and poems can submit the entries on or before August 15, 2017.

Candidates who are going to send the entries must remember they must be less than 5,000 words on topics related to: -
- Multiculturalism
- Disabilities and Differently-abled
- Gender Roles, Identities and Biases
- Sexual Orientation or Preferences
Professor Vasanthi Srinivasan Chairperson for Ethics and Code of Conduct at IIM Bangalore expressed that he was delighted to witness the manner in which students are carrying out the agenda of inclusion. The way students have been propagating the idea is exceptional.
The formal launching of ‘Write for Diversity’ will take place on August 4, 2017, at the inaugural ceremony of ‘Eximius 2017’.

The selected short stories, poems and reflections will be awarded: -
- Critic’s Choice Winner, i.e., a cash prize of Rs. 5,000
- Popular Choice Winners (two), i.e., a cash prize of Rs. 2,500
- IIM Bangalore QUEst will consider 25 writers for change publication that will be released in January 2018.
The main objective of the QUEst is to create a vital forum through which ideas can be exchanged to help build an inclusive mindset.
