The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore is ready to host the webinar on “Publishing in and Collaboration for Top Journal Manuscripts”. The event is scheduled to be conducted at 6:30 pm on 4th March 2022. The webinar will be guided by a Professor at MIT Sloan and Senior Editor of Marketing, Catherine Tucker. She will be sharing her personal experiences on publishing and collaboration for top journals. After discussion, the sessions will also have a series of questions and answers round. Catherine Tucker holds years of experience in social media, online advertising, electronic privacy, Digital Health. Now, her research is on how organisations employ digital data and machine learning to increase performance with the help of technology, and the regulatory problems this brings. Tucker’s study focuses on the intersection of marketing, technology economics, and law.
Tucker has numerous achievements, including a BA from the University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University. She is also the recipient of many awards. Some of which are the Erin Anderson Award for an Emerging Female Marketing Scholar and Mentor; the Paul E. Green Award for contributions to the practice of Marketing Research; the INFORMS Society for Marketing Science Long Term Impact Award for long-run impact on marketing; an NSF CAREER Award for her work on digital privacy; the Garfield Economic Impact Award for her work on electronic medical records; and the William F. O'Dell Award for most significant, long-term contribution to Marketing.
