IIM Calcutta 57th Convocation is scheduled to be held on April 29, 2022, after the successful completion of the 2022 batch placement drive.
IIM Calcutta 57th convocation will be conducted on April 29. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has made the announcement of the same on Twitter. The MD & CEO, of BSE India, Ashish Chauhan will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. He will also address the audience.
The IIM Calcutta convocation will be held after the successful completion of the placements of the 2022 batch. The institute conducted the placements for its 57th batch in March 2022 with 100% placement. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the entire placement process was conducted virtually. According to the information from IIM Calcutta, 465 graduates from IIM Calcutta were placed in various job profiles across a wide range of domains for the final placements.

During the final placements at IIM Calcutta for the 57th batch, the institute has seen a total of 631 offers made. The highest CTC recorded was INR 34.2 lakh per annum and the median CTC recorded was INR 31 lakh per annum. The institute has seen 100% placements for the 2022 batch.

IIM Calcutta 57th Convocation: Top Recruiters at the Placement
About 190 and more prominent companies from numerous domains participated in the placements at IIM Calcutta. Out of which, 49% of the placements were offered from the consulting sector. Top recruiters that participated in IIM Calcutta placements were:
- Bain & Company
- McKinsey & Company
- Accenture Strategy
- Boston Consulting Group
- EY Parthenon, and many others.
The placements for the 2022 batch at the institute also witnessed the presence of some new recruiters. These were companies such as Nykaa, Zomato, Premji Invest, IIFL, and Rothschild. The 57th Placement drive also hosted some international recruiters such as Protiviti, Emaar, and others.
