The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will offer Advanced Programme in Strategic Project Management (APSPM) for mid and senior executives. The course will be of 9 months duration and will aim to enhance the skillset of mid and senior-level executives. Students will be awarded the certification after completion of the program. Furthermore, they will also be given executive education alumni status at the Institute.
According to the official statement by the Institute, the aim of launching the program is to train executives in Project and Project Management and provide hands-on experience on the required tools and techniques. Moreover, students will be given communication and leadership training to enhance their leadership skills.
Professor Sudhakara Reddy, IIM Calcutta, stated that The program has been precisely designed for senior executives to enhance their skillset in Project and Portfolio management. The curriculum will enable participants to familiarize themselves with the key concepts of project and portfolio management, and the advanced tools and techniques to enforce in different businesses scenarios.

Mohan Kannegal, CEO, India and APAC, Eruditus stated that Projects are considered as the essential part of every business plan. This program will enable executives to attain a competitive edge in their domain. It will also help them gain a thorough understanding of project and portfolio management from scratch. This program would thus enable the executives to plan and effectively manage the projects.
